Howdy Neighbor!
Get to know Ariel Due: Neighborhood News Production Manager
By Jenny Castillo, Staff Writer
Neighborhood News knows what makes a great neighborhood publication because we are neighbors too. We bring relevant, thoughtful content to our publication because we live, work and play right here in SA.
Howdy Neighbors, meet Ariel Due, Production Manager for Neighborhood News. Ariel has been with the company since 2003, and in that time, worked in almost every position at the company. Ariel, here’s to 20 more years and the opportunity to make that “almost” into “every.”
Ariel hails from a fellow mission city, San Diego, California and upon moving to San Antonio, perhaps found her mission in working for Neighborhood News. She grew up in a large, close-knit household with many great cooks and family gatherings around meals. That connection to great family meals inspires content for our publications—like seasonal recipes published in our newsletters.
Asked what she thinks makes Neighborhood News a good neighbor, Ariel said, “We are the only official publication for neighborhoods. Neighborhood News works closely with neighborhoods’ board of directors and community managers to produce a customized and informative newsletter—catered to the needs and interests of residents. It IS and will remain one of the most important pieces of news and information that residents receive in the mail.”
Well said Ariel.
